Hi!

I am a Christ follower blessed with a faith-filled husband, 2 incredible sons and so much more. God is so faithful! Being the only girl, I am always surrounded by hockey, baseball, football, muscle cars, loud noises, and all the wonderful things that make men who they are. But, I was born a girly-girl and like everything pink, frilly, and with jewelry and makeup added! Often I’ve felt as if my disjointed, but blessed lifestyle is overrun by testosterone! But, I have found that God is perfect and He knew the balance I needed ~ the perfect men in my pink-colored world: pigs in champagne!

Easy-Peasy Card

This card type is so simple and effective! As long as you have a pretty patterned paper, you can do anything. I decided to make a TY card. Will probably be making lots of this type. I especially like that you pull the inside note paper with ribbon.

The base is cut at 6.25 from Storybook's scallop square. The top pieces are then layered  to fit. So easy-peasy!

Christina's Bday Card

This is my first project with the Love You A Latte cartridge. There are so many pretty images on that cartridge and I used this one for Christina's bday card. I used lots of Cuttlebug, bling, ribbon, and layers. The pin is my creation and the patterned paper from DeNami Designs. I hope she loves it!

Shadow Box Card

Maria and Teri found these plastic shadow boxes that come with the top layers pre-cut at the stamping expo in West Palm. I embossed with the Happy Birthday folder I also got at the expo and inked the words for impact. I am going to add a ribbon across the top, under the words. You can't see it but there are plastic little dew drops inside. The sticker is the type on the glittered paper colored with Copics. So much prettier in person.

TY Strawberry Card

This cricut strawberry was cut at 3.5" and is HUGE. I absolutely love it!!! I glittered the "chocolate" and layered over a paper doilie.

Flip-It's Card

Haven't completed this card yet but I wanted to post the pic. I am in LOVE with these cards!!! They "flip"! Anything with movement always gets me... It's a Sizzix die. I found out that the Artiste cartridge has 9 flip cards. WOO HOO!

Cropping at Total Wine

Besides all the cards we make and scrapbooking we get done, Edna always has a Make-n-Take. This time it was this adorable little purse using the Cricut Artiste cartridge that  you can only get from CTMH. Needless to say, I got the cartridge!

It is the perfect size for a gift card. I think I'll make a bunch and hang them on the Christmas tree.

Stephen's Halloween Card

LOL!

World Card Making Day

In honor of WCMD I whipped up a few cute stamped cards. Everytime I use the $1 clear stamps from M's or J's or ACM I rant and rave and swear that I'll never buy such poor quality. Of course, every time I walk back in and they have new stamps I cave and buy them again! LOL Here are a few cuties:

Coveted Giraffe Card

I saw this digi stamp years ago but didn't know how to use digis. When I finally learned, I remembered this image and went searching. I was so happy I found it! I love this giraffe. And, so does Maria! She wants this card really bad LOL.

I used a Nestabilities to frame it and found giraffe paper and ribbon! The pins are my own creation.

Get Well Card

Just a cute digi I want to keep in my stash for when someone doesn't feel well. It' a digi.

Maria's Bday Card

Maria wanted the giraffe card SO BAD but I just couldn't give it to her because she saw me make it. So, I made her a new card. It's a digi! I'm sure she liked it but she's still hounding me about the giraffe... I'm sure I'll cave eventually. LOL

TY Cards: Mama Zaira

I offered to make 30 TY cards for mama Zaira's birthday. She wanted everyone who attended her 94th birthday to get a special thank you. I kept it simple but pretty and elegant. She loved them!!!

Mrs. Flowers' Bday Card

We were actually at a state training when Mrs. Flowers' bday came up. I made her this card on the Imagine. It did not photograph well at all. I think this is one of my favorite cards ever. It is pretty, elegant, and makes such a statement. I added a few crystals and ribbon to finish it off. It's from the Teresa Collins Baby Boutique!

Imagine Bday Cake Slice

I love this cake slice printed on the Imagine. It's from Yummy and it looks yummy! Of course, can't make any bday card without glitter... sorry for the dark pic, using a telephoto lens at 6" away! The entire card is Imagine.

Adorable Bday Card: Digi Ladybug

Another adorable digi! This time the monkey is dressed like a ladybug. He is sooooo cute. This image is perfect for baby cards or Halloween cards. I chose to make a bday card. I think this color combo is probably my fave of all time: teal and red. Actually, any blue (especially baby blue) and a red.

Will's Father's Day Card

MFT stamp. LOL

Mayito's Father's Day Card

I am in love with this MFT stamp. I think he is so adorable! I stamped "Macho Man" on the bottle cap with Staz-on. LOL

Jeremy's Graduation Card

Jeremy graduated this year. I can't believe how big these kids are!!! Only yesterday (last year) Stephen graduated. We are getting old! LOL Belen is gold and deep blue. He loved it!!!

Cricut Butterfly Card

Maria and I spent a few hours making cards at the Paper Niche. It was nice to get away and just scrap, even if for a few hours. I made a few cards for Father's Day, a bday digi card, and this pretty butterfly card:

The butterfly is cut out from the Cricut, covered with chunky glitter, then folded and pop-dotted. I also added a few pearls in the center to give it even more dimension. I used a piece of patterned paper from one of the  pretty DCWV paper packs and I simply added a paper doilie and some embellishments. Of course, ribbon to finish it off. Sometimes the simplest cards are the easiest and the prettiest.

CTMH Class

Took a class with Edna back in May. Here are the things we made:
