Hi!

I am a Christ follower blessed with a faith-filled husband, 2 incredible sons and so much more. God is so faithful! Being the only girl, I am always surrounded by hockey, baseball, football, muscle cars, loud noises, and all the wonderful things that make men who they are. But, I was born a girly-girl and like everything pink, frilly, and with jewelry and makeup added! Often I’ve felt as if my disjointed, but blessed lifestyle is overrun by testosterone! But, I have found that God is perfect and He knew the balance I needed ~ the perfect men in my pink-colored world: pigs in champagne!

Alina's Feel Better

Alina is facing some health issues. We decided to give her a GC to a restaurant. Of course, I had to make a card. I wanted to lift her spirits so I went with a little humor. It was my first chance to use Suburbia. LOVE, LOVE, the images on that cart! The layering was so simple! To add a little pizzaz all I really did was use stickles on the apron. And, the Cuttlebug folder (designed to match with "In My Kitchen") was perfect! Love all the utensils in the background. I sure do hope it raised her spirits.

Ralphie's Valentine Card

The 2013 Valentine card for Ralphie. The jar is from one of my fave stamp set, Friendship Jar, by PTI. Had to go pink and red this year...

Teri's Birthday

For Teri's birthday (January 18th) we got together to make cards. We made 12 cards in one afternoon! Wow. Of course, there were three of us - Teri, Maria, and me - so that means we only made four each. LOL Nevertheless, it is always the most special of time when we get together and the fellowship is really the focus. Making pretty things is just an added bonus. What a wonderful start to Teri's birthday weekend. Here they are:

A boy/man bday card. Can never have enough of those! The stamp is from Stampin' Up.

Teri needed to make a sympathy card. We decided to go simple and elegant. You never really know how to make a sympathy card so I pray that when I need to give this it is received with God's grace.

Valentine Cards using the jar from PaperTreyInk. We all  used the same stamp but varied the card design. This is my version:

I wanted to make a special card for Jackie. She is going through so much and yet her spirit remains positive. Erica and I added a little restaurant gift card and voila! She loved it, BTW. The galoshes (stamp from SP & Company) reminded us of her stories from Ohio LOL

Christmas Cards 2012

It's a shame I couldn't get a good picture of these cards. It was so late and I didn't check. The sentiment at the bottom says Sweet Wishes. The stamp comes with a bunch of different faces. I had fun making these and made about 30 for Ralph's coworkers.

I also made about 15 of these very elegant cards for family and friends. The die is from PaperTrey and cuts beautifully. I really had fun combining different papers. The line of bling really finishes it. Very elegant.

Lastly, some of last year's cards were given out. I love the layered tree. The die is from Heartfelt.
