Hi!

I am a Christ follower blessed with a faith-filled husband, 2 incredible sons and so much more. God is so faithful! Being the only girl, I am always surrounded by hockey, baseball, football, muscle cars, loud noises, and all the wonderful things that make men who they are. But, I was born a girly-girl and like everything pink, frilly, and with jewelry and makeup added! Often I’ve felt as if my disjointed, but blessed lifestyle is overrun by testosterone! But, I have found that God is perfect and He knew the balance I needed ~ the perfect men in my pink-colored world: pigs in champagne!

Baseball Lovers' Card

A Marlins-colored card for JM.

The stamp is Pure Innocence from MFT. He is adorable! The sentiment is from one of the Pink by Design masculine sets. The patterned paper is a loose sheet I saw at Paper Niche this week. The ribbon is from M's. I really like the chevron print on the back of the baseball paper. It looks great together! Sending it out tomorrow morning.

JM's 4th of July

JM's favorite holiday is the Fourth of July. He loves the USA and is so patriotic. Thought I'd do something with a little twist. The pinwheel stamp is one of the CTMH's monthly $5 deals. Too cute! The "stem" is a paper straw. The sentiment is from a free digi on TiddlyInks.

A few more JM cards

I can't believe it's under 3 weeks. Actually, less than 20 days. I can count them on my fingers and toes!!! Praise God!

A digi. And, he jiggles on an action wobble! The sand is actually micro beads that were glued down with glass accents. The inside sentiment says, "Don't allow your circumstances to speak louder than God's word."

Another digi. I still haven't decided what to put on the little notes. Will update the pic when I do. Updated - second pic has the sentiment (letter stickers).

Stampin' Up Card Class

I finally made it to one of Jackie's card classes. It is actually not a class but 4 consultants who set up stations and you go station to station making different cards. For $25 you make 8 cards total of 4 different styles. I have to say that Jackie's was by far the most thought-out and prettiest. Here are the cards:

First, this consultant wasn't here so someone else filled in for her. My least favorite. The good thing is that it works at any angle. Stamping, coloring, cutting, layering:

Second least fave. Stamp, emboss, layer.

Michelle's design. Very cute with the hair gel inside the baggie. Jackie had a similar technique but on a larger scale and with more detail. This one is cute. The punch for this fish bowl is a 1 3/4".

Jackie's design. By far the prettiest. The inside is also stamped. I didn't use her "Happy birthday" sentiment because I remembered I had these at home and used those instead. The gel idea is ingenious!
