Pastor Garland has really been an obedient servant. He has taken on the role of lead pastor and has not once complained of the overload. It has been over a year now (or so it seems) since pastor Steve left. Ralph and I wanted to give Garland a little restaurant gc as a token of our appreciation. This is the card I made to put the gc in. I am really liking Stampin' Up's stamp/punch sets. They are all so versatile.
Hi!
I am a Christ follower blessed with a faith-filled husband, 2 incredible sons and so much more. God is so faithful! Being the only girl, I am always surrounded by hockey, baseball, football, muscle cars, loud noises, and all the wonderful things that make men who they are. But, I was born a girly-girl and like everything pink, frilly, and with jewelry and makeup added! Often I’ve felt as if my disjointed, but blessed lifestyle is overrun by testosterone! But, I have found that God is perfect and He knew the balance I needed ~ the perfect men in my pink-colored world: pigs in champagne!

Bingo Stamp Card: CTMH
I joined CTMH at the expo simply because I could get the full kit right there and she was giving away an additional $80 worth of stamps for signing up. Of course, how could I pass that up??? Here is a card with one of the stamp sets. It is a Bingo card and I think so cute and versatile. You can put anything into the little blocks and so therefore can use it in any situation.
LO: Mon Ami Gabby
Did a make-n-take with Regina at Mon Ami Gabby's booth at the expo. A super-girly layout! Gorgeous ribbon flowers and details.

ACH Blog Hop Week 1
I am taking my first ever online bible study. So excited! We are reading Renee Swope's, "A Confident Heart". Every Thursday there is a blog hop. I did not participate in the first one (by sharing out this blog) because I think I just want to keep my thoughts and notes private (at least for now). We were given four topics to blog on. I have chosen to "map" this week's verse. That means that I replace certain pronouns with my name, make special note of words that speak to me, etc.
This week's verse (which I absolutely love, BTW) is: "Then you will know that I am The Lord; those who hope in me will not be disappointed." Isaiah 49:23b
My mapping:
Then I will have no doubt that God is the only God; because I place my hope in Him I will not be disappointed.

Butterfly Technique
Love the technique of cutting out a shape and letting the background come through. In this case, I used plain AC cardstock that was run through the Cuttlebug.
Get Well Card: Jessika
Hopefully Jackie's daughter is home. I wanted to send her another little card to cheer her up. I hope she likes it. The adorable little girl is a digi and reminds me of how Jackie described her when she was growing up. Colored with copics and set on nestabilities. The center of the flower is a tiny acrylic butterfly.
Hello - My Name is
I think this is one of the awesomest stamps EVER! I love that I can put anything into the blank. This is my first attempt. The flower is made from one of the MFT flower dies.

Maria's Halloween Card
The dress form rises again! LOL Except, this time the die is from Cricut's French Manor. What an awesome cartridge.
Lynn's Back!!!
Lynn has started teaching again. YAY!!! Maria and I went to her first card class this morning. These are the two cards we made ~ they are adorable! She has turned her house (which used to be rented) into a little store. OMGosh it looks like a little cottage out of time. I could spend my entire day there! LOL Maria and I swore we need nothing and therefore would buy nothing...$80 later (EACH) we walked out with these...
The phone dial on this card is on an action wobble and therefore so cute!
This is a 5x5 easel.

Dress Form Bling
I fell in love with these dies when I saw them at PN. Ended up getting them with a 40% off and am so happy I did. And, they make bling to match the little skirts. How cute! There are other dress forms in the set, this is just one of them. Maria made the same card! LOL I think it is adorable! Not sure who will get this one...
Mosaic Cards
I love the stamp/punch set from SU. It is so pretty and versatile. I have an entire Pinterest board on this set!!! These are my first two cards. I think this set will look good years from now.
This is the card we gave to Jackie with a little "dinner help" after Jessie's surgery. I sure hope she finds the colors happy.

Gatefold: Brownie Points
I saw a tutorial on YouTube for faux gatefold cards. I couldn't believe how easy and pretty they turn out. This is my first attempt. The papers are a little bold but they work. The stamp is from the new $5 CTMH monthly set (September 2013) and I thought it was adorable. Love, love, chocolate stamps!
Chocolate SU Checklist
One of SU's old sets has this checklist. You can never go wrong with a chocolate sentiment LOL! I added pink to contrast the brown. So pretty.
SuperBoy Again
This SuperBoy stamp from MFT is my favorite of their entire collection. I think he is adorable! I've used him in everything from birthday to thank you to encouragement. Today he is just gracing the front of this card until I decide how to use him. LOL
Autumn Cards
It's so hot I felt like making a few autumn cards with some of my pretty stamps.
Wreath: CTMH
Window: Taylored Expressions. The ribbon has been in my stash for years. It will be the perfect "thank you" for someone over the next few months.

Tri-color Versamark
I still don't really know how to use Versamark so I tried stamping on three different colors. It's a simple card but I like the colorful effects.
Masculine Tools Card
John has been so helpful moving my office. When I came back one day it had all been done for me - including the move of cabinets. I wanted to show a little gratitude so I got him a gc for his fave restaurant: Outback! I made this card to reflect his daytime obsession! LOL
Mario Jr.'s Pirate Bday Card
This little pirate is a digi! Mayi's 25th bday card. We went over for dinner and poker. All he wanted was Pollo Tropical and a poker game with the family. What a great kid!
Anna Griffin Sticker Cards
I wanted to just make a few cards so I pulled out the stickers from an old Anna Griffin set. Basic and simple cards but the process allowed me to just create even when I had a block.
