Hi!

I am a Christ follower blessed with a faith-filled husband, 2 incredible sons and so much more. God is so faithful! Being the only girl, I am always surrounded by hockey, baseball, football, muscle cars, loud noises, and all the wonderful things that make men who they are. But, I was born a girly-girl and like everything pink, frilly, and with jewelry and makeup added! Often I’ve felt as if my disjointed, but blessed lifestyle is overrun by testosterone! But, I have found that God is perfect and He knew the balance I needed ~ the perfect men in my pink-colored world: pigs in champagne!

Embroidering on Burlap

This embroidery thing opens up a whole new world of possibilities for me! I didn't realize you could pretty much embroider on any surface - granted the needle has to be able to pierce - but with the right mix of stabilizer, thread, and needle, anything is possible! I love this piece. I used a piece of burlap that I basted to hooped cutaway, added some wss on top, then embroidered. I am going to glue a layer of batting to the frame base then frame it with an antique-looking frame that I find at Marshall's or Ross. The embroidery isn't crooked, that's just my lack of photography skills! LOL

Makeup Case

Hobby Lobby sells these cute cases. I am using mine for makeup because it is lined in vinyl. I used a font inside my Spirit and just attached with the sticky stabilizer. It was a little hard to keep the other side out of the way but I used the clips and it worked.

Disney T's for Maria

Maria picked up these t-shirts at M's for only $2.50! They were my first attempt at embroidering these tees. I had some trouble centering (Emily's is off by about 1") and I should have done a better job of estimating size. Natalie's came out perfect but I think the font size for Liana and Emily was too small. I know for next time to print out the design before embroidering. In the end, the girls loved them and wore them 2 days in a row when they were at Disney! LOL

Stephen's Robe

Got this plush Ralph Lauren robe at Kohl's after Christmas for a fraction of the retail price. I couldn't get the fabric for that price! I decided to try a new monogram font. It looks crooked in the pic but it isn't. When worn, it is perfect. Stephen loved it and says it is reallly comfortable.

Kitchen Set for Nicole

Joey's fiancee loves wine. I decided to embroider one of the kitchen towels in a set from Tuesday Morning for her. I am including it in the box with other embroidered items that I am taking up there for their wedding.

Joey & Nicole's Wedding Towels

I made a set of extra large bath towels for Joey and Nicole. Also made them guest towels for their guest bathroom. And, hand towels. The first pic is the 6" "D" on the bath towels. It is gorgeous. The second pic is their guest had towel. I used the same font for different towels. This is just a sampling.

Guest Towel for 1/2 Bath

Loving these split designs. The embroidery is straight - it's the circle holder that makes it look off. Came out beautiful! I have it in the 1/2 bath downstairs.

Lowers Guest Towel

Trying out different letters and frames. This towel is from Tuesday Morning. Not as bold as I'd like but pretty nevertheless. Enjoying this new awesome hobby!
