Valentine's 2017

Made one for Jon Michael and one for Stephen. Put a Starbucks GC inside behind the patterned cardstock. We were trying out the little heat pen we bought that seals and adheres plastics. Works great!!! I printed out the sentiment but it is actually a stamp on MFT. So funny! LOL

So, it was our last flip day but Teri had an event at Primerica so she couldn't come. We missed her but still made some cute cards:

I found this watercolor card from Rubberneck Stamps that was given to me at one of the conventions. It was a quick 5 minute sample to showcase their stamps and inks. I adhered it to a soft blue base and added the sentiment. Bara-bing, bara-boom! Masculine bday card.

Slider Cards

Maria got a new die. We can make sliders!!! And the elephant set (AI) is so adorable! Can always count on Mari to buy cute stuff. Here is a small sample. We did miss Teri, though. She had Primerica training.

Ralphie's 59th Slider Card

59. Wow. The bike is stamped and then I used the glitter pen to make it look like real fancy auto body painting. Can't appreciate in pictures but it looks fantastic.

Amy: Laurita's New Baby

Juan Enrique's daughter, Laura, is having her first baby. Being here just over a year and having a baby so soon is really hard. Just a few things to make her feel special. Her husband works very hard and I can't believe they let her go when they found out she was pregnant. My cousin is touched that we are supporting her. He must miss her so much. I am trying to make her a variety of items that are all personalized. I know she will love them. Communism sucks.

Ok, my first real burp cloth and I am in burp cloth heaven!!! I just want to make burp cloths now. So much fun! LOL With a fat quarter I can get at least three and generally four or five.

Her card. Who'd know this is from a 12x12 paper (J's) that has pre-gridded card fronts and sentiments! All I did was add the monkey and flowers. Boom! Done.

Easton: Baby Boy Embroidery

Embroidery for a baby shower Maria requested some gifts for. Actually, just found out it's for Jamie Bloomfield at East.

White quilt with anchor alphabet letter. To date, my most favorite quilt I've embroidered!!! The anchor is applique and the rope is a new rayon thread that has multiple threads in one. It looks so real and I love that I put it at an angle on the corner. Perfect for hanging on the crib railing.
