Hi!

I am a Christ follower blessed with a faith-filled husband, 2 incredible sons and so much more. God is so faithful! Being the only girl, I am always surrounded by hockey, baseball, football, muscle cars, loud noises, and all the wonderful things that make men who they are. But, I was born a girly-girl and like everything pink, frilly, and with jewelry and makeup added! Often I’ve felt as if my disjointed, but blessed lifestyle is overrun by testosterone! But, I have found that God is perfect and He knew the balance I needed ~ the perfect men in my pink-colored world: pigs in champagne!

More Imagine Cards and Challenge #26

Making cards with the I is the easiest thing EVER! I love designing on the G then flood-filling the images with coordinating papers. Plug it in, hit print/cut, done! Can't wait for the new paper carts to come out - all those options will have me in cyber-paper heaven ~ LOL So awesome!!!
This is my CC weekly challenge #26 entry. A "just because" card. Everything (except the sentiment) was designed on the Gypsy and printed/cut on the Imagine. I used the Audrey cart for all the papers, Mother's Day Bouquet for the flowers (three sizes and shapes), and the stock images from the I for the scalloped circles and the square backgrounds. So simple! I just love how it all goes beautifully together. I also pop-dotted the flowers, added a bling brad in the center of each, and threw in a little ribbon.

Ralphie's 53rd birthday card. He is such an avid runner and I used my I to flood-fill images from the Basketball cart (the sneakers) to match his running shoes. LOL He loved it! Oh, the background skull paper is from the JT Imagine cart. Such a cool cart!!!

WMC49

I got some new stamps from MFT and wanted to make some cards. Both are colored with copics and I used paper scraps from my stash. I really like making A2 cards b/c just a few pieces of coordinated papers can make a statement. This one is my entry for the Wee Memories Challenge #49 "Anything Goes". The stamp is from the A La Modes line and the pp from DeNami designs.
Kristy's birthday card! Too cute!

A thank-you card. I matched the basket to the background paper and cuttlebugged the aqua base. The stamp is "Who's that Harvesting Girl?" from their line of "Who's That Girl?". LOVE those girls!!!

CC Challenge #25: Imagine-ation

An I challenge! Woo hoo!!! Love this bad puppy! Here is the card I chose to make:

A2 size
Cartridge: Imagine Best Friends. The images and patterned papers on this cartridge are so girly!
The only non-imagine things on the card are the ribbon and tulle (stash), metal charm (stash), flower on dress, and "hello" stamp (Inkadinkado).
Dress Image and sentiment are on pop-dots.

Jackie's 50th Bday Card

Jackie turns 50 tomorrow and I wanted to make her a card that symbolizes the continuation of her adventurous spirit while at the same time encourages her to enjoy the life God has given her. The inside says, "Happy 29th birthday from your 110 lb. friend" LOL

Cart: Imagine Best Friends; everything is from that cart. Wow! Love my I.

Cricut Circle Challenge #24: St. Paddy's

The CC challenge for this week is to make anything with a green monochromatic color scheme with a touch of gold. Well, I decided to make Mayito's birthday card using the criteria from the challenge since his birthday is on the 16th and we are having a surprise party for him tomorrow. Ralph wanted me to add a beer stein to the Lion's paws but I had to draw the line somewhere! LOL

First Post

Today I decided to start a blog. I have no idea what I'm doing but this process seems to be pretty user-friendly. I hope to be able to post all my cards, layouts, altered items, and created jewelry pieces here. And, I already have a follower (Erica) and haven't even started! Thanks, Erica!!! I think this will be a fun journey :)
