Diana and Debbie are hosting a Victorian Tea/Brunch for the Elders' wives from 2RC. She asked if I could make a few invitations for her. This is what I came up with. I have also been experimenting with lighting and photographing cards/layouts. This first pic was taken inside, by the window:
This one was taken outside. I think you get a much truer color even though the sun here is so bright.
I made a total of 7 invites. This pic taken outside also.
The digi is from Cornish Heritage Farms. I decided to go with all creams/ivories/whites and a touch of dusty rose. She really liked them. The teacup is colored with Copics and I covered the honey with glass accents. A little stickles on the teacup flowers added the perfect little touch. I kept them simple because she told me last night after Good Friday services and I had to give them to her today but I am happy with the result. I used my Nestabilities as well as some paper doilies from the dollar store to give texture and layers. The tulle and lace are from my stash. Finished size: 5.5 x 5.5
Hi!
I am a Christ follower blessed with a faith-filled husband, 2 incredible sons and so much more. God is so faithful! Being the only girl, I am always surrounded by hockey, baseball, football, muscle cars, loud noises, and all the wonderful things that make men who they are. But, I was born a girly-girl and like everything pink, frilly, and with jewelry and makeup added! Often I’ve felt as if my disjointed, but blessed lifestyle is overrun by testosterone! But, I have found that God is perfect and He knew the balance I needed ~ the perfect men in my pink-colored world: pigs in champagne!
