Hi!

I am a Christ follower blessed with a faith-filled husband, 2 incredible sons and so much more. God is so faithful! Being the only girl, I am always surrounded by hockey, baseball, football, muscle cars, loud noises, and all the wonderful things that make men who they are. But, I was born a girly-girl and like everything pink, frilly, and with jewelry and makeup added! Often I’ve felt as if my disjointed, but blessed lifestyle is overrun by testosterone! But, I have found that God is perfect and He knew the balance I needed ~ the perfect men in my pink-colored world: pigs in champagne!

Easter Runner

My first Anita Goodesign project. Well, my first full project, not just isolated designs. Also, my first official "quilt" as I applied the techniques I learned in Quilting 101 with Raine. The panels were a bit stiff - not sure of it was my lack of stabilizer or the density of the stitches. Probably me as others didn't have the same problem. Also, the longer panels "pulled" in the center. At first I thought I should have not used the largest hoop but then others shared the same problem so it may be that I didn't tighten enough or that I need to wrap the sides of my hoop. Either way, I really enjoyed my first embroidery/sewing project. It was so much fun and it really is so pretty, mistakes and all. All the fabrics are from J's.
